Love Made Visible

Harvest Consulting partners with organizations to shift culture into a place where people thrive. Through the Human-Centered Leadership Movement, I help leaders reclaim their humanity so they can transform the people and organizations entrusted to their care.

Is To Grow People

My Purpose

I founded Harvest Consulting in 2019, and I serve as its Principal Lead, content designer, leadership and organizational development specialist, and training facilitator. The name “Harvest” deeply resonates with me. My purpose on this planet is to grow people. There’s something powerful about planting seeds that nourish others and create the conditions for them to thrive, and that’s where I find true joy.

Harvest Consulting partners with K-12 public and charter schools, educational institutions, community-based organizations, and businesses to create lasting organizational and cultural shifts. We offer leadership development, strategy and implementation management, executive coaching, values buildout, educator pipeline expansion, and other initiatives that support growth and transformation at every level.

The Human-Centered Leadership Movement helps me answer one question: “How do I help leaders reclaim their humanity so they can transform the people and organizations entrusted to their care?” It picks up where my book, Life, Love and Leadership: A Black Woman’s Journey, left off. The book shows who I am and why I lead. The movement is where we do that work together.

I begin with love: not sentiment or comfort, but rigorous, demanding, transformative love. It starts with radical self-awareness, grows through radical self-love, and matures into radical responsibility. My goal is to help you become fully human so you can lead more courageously, because leadership exists to build humans.

Who It’s For

Over four months, we meet virtually to wrestle with what we’ve been taught leadership is, define what it means for us, and turn those insights into a personal work plan. Participants receive group coaching and digital content, and we reconnect quarterly on Zoom afterward.

In Their Own Words

  • This course was everything. I didn't know what to expect but it was so enlightening and I learned so much about being a leader and finding purpose.

    -Participant, Leading Across Differences Session

  • "This course with Dr. Rachelle Rogers-Ard far exceeded my expectations. The material was communicated in a way that was easy to grasp and even though these topics can be huge it was digestible in a way that could hit and make sense. I left with so much knowledge and key tools to navigate anti-racism and differences and how that impacts leadership. Ultimately the difference between leadership and managing."

    -Participant, Leading Across Differences Session

  • "Dr. Rachelle is an exceptional trainer/presenter. She brings so much expertise and knowledge and presents in a way that is engaging and fun. I appreciated her humor and vulnerability. Really one of the best trainings I've been to in a LONG time."

    - Participant, Authentic Antiracist Leadership Training

  • "The presentation was so clear, helpful, easy to digest and supported my ability to reflect on many topics by highlighting key areas."

    -Participant, Leading Across Differences Session

  • "This session absolutely exceeded my expectations! I have been looking for training and professional development that will allow me to take my knowledge and theoretical understanding of white supremacy culture and put it into action in my work. I am so excited to continue this leadership cohort and build towards full integration of these principles into my work. THANK YOU for this fabulous opportunity!"

    - Participant, Authentic Antiracist Leadership Training

  • "This training exceeded my expectations. If I could continuously use the reaction buttons during the zoom session I probably would have, although that would have been distracting. I was completely engaged and want to take any and all courses offered by Dr. Rodgers-Ard. The information is presented in a way that is consumable and even challenging topics have the space to be processed. There are clear definitions provided so we can all start on the same page and it helps to set the tone for expectations. I enjoyed the break out sessions and the journal topics. I would recommend this course to my peers and to my leadership."

    -Participant, Leading Across Differences Session

  • "Fantastic class. Very thought provoking and I left with much to feast on. Good dynamics and flow in the teaching of the class, appreciated the humor in additional to the knowledge. The prompts strong and will hopefully set up foundations for growth. Looking forward to all of the remaining sessions. "
