"Leaders must decide whether to harm the system or harm the people."

Planting Seeds of Transformation

Developing leaders. Deepening purpose. Driving change.

I founded Harvest Consulting in 2019 and serve as the Principal Lead, content designer, leadership and organizational development specialist, and training facilitator. The name “Harvest” deeply resonates with me—my purpose on this planet is to grow people. There’s something powerful about planting seeds that nourish others and create conditions for them to thrive, and that’s where I find true joy.

Now in its sixth year, Harvest Consulting partners with K–12 public and charter schools, higher education institutions, Educational Service Districts (ESDs), and civic and community-based organizations. We provide executive coaching, antiracist organizational and leadership development, organizational values implementation, educator pipeline development, and other strategic initiatives designed to support growth and transformation at every level.

“Leadership is, at its core, an extension of you: your beliefs, values, self-awareness, and your willingness to extend to others.”

— Dr. Rachelle Rogers-Ard, 2023

Black Educational Leadership

From Silencing to Authenticity

Dr. Rachelle Rogers-Ard & Christopher Knaus use Critical Race Theory and Anti-Racist Pedagogy to highlight the lives of several Black school leaders and one school district administrator as they continue to develop anti-racist, purpose-driven leadership identities. Recognizing that schools within the United States maintain racial disparities, the authors highlight Black leaders who transform school systems.

In Their Own Words

  • This course was everything. I didn't know what to expect but it was so enlightening and I learned so much about being a leader and finding purpose.

  • "This course with Dr. Rachelle Rogers-Ard far exceeded my expectations. The material was communicated in a way that was easy to grasp and even though these topics can be huge it was digestible in a way that could hit and make sense. I left with so much knowledge and key tools to navigate anti-racism and differences and how that impacts leadership. Ultimately the difference between leadership and managing."

    -Participant, Leading Across Differences Session

  • "This session absolutely exceeded my expectations! I have been looking for training and professional development that will allow me to take my knowledge and theoretical understanding of white supremacy culture and put it into action in my work. I am so excited to continue this leadership cohort and build towards full integration of these principles into my work. THANK YOU for this fabulous opportunity!"

    - Participant, Authentic Antiracist Leadership Training

  • "This training exceeded my expectations. If I could continuously use the reaction buttons during the zoom session I probably would have, although that would have been distracting. I was completely engaged and want to take any and all courses offered by Dr. Rodgers-Ard. The information is presented in a way that is consumable and even challenging topics have the space to be processed. There are clear definitions provided so we can all start on the same page and it helps to set the tone for expectations. I enjoyed the break out sessions and the journal topics. I would recommend this course to my peers and to my leadership."
